*The following kit was provided to me from AMD. My opinions are my own.
I received another package from AMD on Friday! Let’s take a look at what I got.
While not a fantastic wooden box like the Ryzen 7 kit, it is still a very nice cardboard box filled with awesomeness.
Upon opening it I was greeted with not one but TWO Ryzen 5 CPUS. I was provided with a Ryzen 5 1600x (6 core 12 thread) and a Ryzen 5 1500x (4 core 8 thread) that was packaged with a Wraith Spire cooler.
Underneath that was some more goodies. A Gigabyte B350 Gaming 3 motherboard and a 16GB Geil DDR4 3200 MHz RGB RAM kit. The extra bonus was the Wraith Max CPU cooler that I am particularly excited about trying out.
The Wraith MAX looks in line with the previous generation Wraith cooler that I was using on my FX 8370 but has some added RGB for flair. The Spire also has some RGB on it as well but not as robust of a cooler as the Max in visual comparison.
I am looking forward to trying these products out and stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks.
